The weather cooperated! Hooray!  Cassie is such a gorgeous pregnant woman!  I literally cannot love these pictures any more.  And mega props to Cassie for those heels!  There is no way I would have even thought about heels at 36 weeks pregnant, but she totally rocked them!  Here's a few more of this gorgeous couple.

As a photographer, I want to continuously challenge myself to get more creative.  I've taken classes, I've participated in workshops, and I ask for honest critique from other photographers to help me improve.  I often get caught up in taking pictures for clients and forget to capture our every day life.  It's hard to find a balance between getting the perfect picture for a wall portrait, and candidly capturing the lives of my children and family.  The other day we got home from running some errands and there were huge puddles on the ground from the rain we had just gotten.  Elizabeth is currently obsessed with rain, so I thought it would be fun to let her play in the puddles.  I grabbed my camera and she went to town.  She didn't want to take direction, so I just went with it.  And soon Logan joined in on the fun.  Here are a few photos from our fun :)

Murphy was such an incredible sport!  It was raining but I wanted to try a few things anyway, and though my vision wasn't totally realized, we still had a blast!  Here's a few from her session!

Oh how I adore this little boy.  He is so stinking cute!  And always smiling!!!  Even when he was totally over having his picture taken, he was still smiling.  His mommy had the adorable idea of putting him in the bed of a dump truck!  We used a new one for one set, and then used his daddy's old antique dump truck for another.  Love him!

Cassie and Josh were so much fun to work with!  And Cassie is just gorgeous.  Probably the cutest pregnant woman ever.  I can't wait for part II of our shoot since it was POURING outside on the day of.  We wait and wait for rain and then of course it comes on the one day we don't want it! First installment!
